Provide technical services for operation, maintenance and modification of KTWR broadcast equipment. Responsibilities include viewing position as a ministry to the Lord and Trans World Radio. Communicate with KTWR Chief Engineer or designated engineer, routinely updating him of project status and responsibilities. Participate in routine maintenance of the KTWR broadcast equipment. Ensure familiarization with KTWR broadcast equipment, documentation and procedures. Regard safety as a top priority. Provide occasional technical support to personnel in other TWR locations. Position specifications: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience with an emphasis in radio communications or power electronics, with at least one year of engineering technician experience. Proficient knowledge of RF circuits, vacuum tubes, transistor circuits, logic circuits, power circuits, test equipment use and broadcast-related equipment. Good mechanical aptitude. Written and oral communication skills. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a warm tropical climate.
